At 21 (in 1987), I left my quiet Western Pennsylvania town for the bustling energy of Washington, DC. I navigated the fast-paced worlds of hospitality, trade associations and tech startups for the next 16 years and mastered the ins and outs of business operations. I learned that words - when chosen carefully - are truly magical. I also learned that a single typo can break a client's trust instantly.
